I stayed 2 nights in the Deluxe King Room. The place was immaculately clean, with a comfy bed and a nice-sized bathroom stocked with lovely toiletries. The breakfast hamper was delightful, and I loved having proper tea bags and milk in the room! The views from the bathroom window were gorgeous, overlooking the garden and fields with horses. The hosts were charming yet not intrusive. 😊

The breakfast was delivered in a lovely hamper.
I found my stay quite frustrating. The noise from the road was disruptive, especially at night, making it hard to relax. the shower was in need of maintenance, with noticeable limescale buildup that began impacting my showering experience. I also encountered issues with the blocked bath plug, which was clearly not addressed by the staff before my arrival, and it made the bathroom feel less than inviting.

great stay but slightly awkward location
The hosts were truly amazing and made us feel welcome. The Deluxe King Room was comfortable with a fridge stocked with real milk, which is a nice touch. Breakfast was served on time every morning, fresh and delicious. The garden view added a lovely natural aspect to the room, enhancing our overall experience.
The location was a bit outside the village, which made walking somewhere for dinner a bit inconvenient.

The suite offers a unique sense of privacy, enhanced by its detached setting with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, creating a home-like feel. The hosts are welcoming yet unobtrusive, providing excellent local dining recommendations, particularly for those seeking gluten-free options. being slightly outside the village can make evening outings less convenient, and the self-catering setup could be misleading if expecting breakfast on-site.
